This was one of the areas burnt on during the tragic fires of Black Saturday. You can see the new growth but also how the tall gum trees are still struggling in this section to re-sprout.

Yes I know, another sunset / sky photo day, I did have another of a completely new subject, but can revisit that when we have lots of dull grey days during winter. There won't be many more of these until late in the year. Enjoy it while it lasts I say.

It was late in the day, I had no idea what to do..so I did this.

We had been out hiring some dvd's as I watched another spectacular sky formation appear and develop..without my camera! This is all I could capture once I we arrived home and I raced to grab the camera and salvage something from the sky.

Also day 123 of Melbourne's 20 degree plus consecutive days. The previous number of consecutive days of 20 and above was 78.

Day 99 - "My Birthday"

Day 99 is my Birthday. I didn't even remember until I had arrived at work. I had a pretty nice day and finally opened the bottle which also made an appearance on day 51.

I almost did not upload this photo, but another I took this evening of a Huntsman spider. In the end I decided against the creepy spider shot and instead to show a typical Melbourne Autumn sunset shot.

Autumn in Melbourne is great. Many beautiful days like this one, day after day. Just perfect. I was hoping to get some fluffy white clouds into this, but there were not enough around.
