Day 88 - "Un-titled"

Day 88
Something a little different, happy with the end result and it does have a story behind it too, when I look back, it will remind me about why.
I have surprised myself with the variety of ideas which have almost naturally occurred as a result of my commitment to achieve what I set out to achieve. I often under estimate what I think I can do. Until I push myself and realise that there is actually more to me than I admit. Blah blah blah.

Day 86 - "They did not steal"

This was not my original idea for today, but funny thing was the idea which did not eventuate was related to this, even though I did not notice until later.

The challenge thus far

I am up to day 78, I have never taken a photo a day every day for 78 days before, so it is certainly new territory already.
It has been a challenge thus far and I am sure it will test me in new ways in the coming months.
What I have found is how much more careful I need to be with my equipment, more use means more chances of things going wrong.
So far I have had two lenses fall out of my camera bag, two missing memory card and I think a missing mini tripod.
Plus an external hard drive failure.
Then there is the time strain!
But it is STILL SO WORTH THE EFFORT!!

As a note though, I think I have come to the conclusion that my back pack style camera bag is not suited to my needs as the memory cards are stored in pockets on the outside, easy to forget to zip them back up, and a similar thing with the lenses accident, ie forgetting it was not zipped up. A different style bag should prevent both of these.

Day 76 - "Long Face"

Day 76
Need I say more?
Well it did start out as an idea of just a sad circular face, but developed over a few pages, into a long face and then finally this one, which helped me feel a bit better. I do wish I could sketch or paint.

Day 70 - "Olly"

Day 70
Olly, pretends not to care, about anything, but what is most important is food and sleep.

Day 69 - "Pie with sauce"

Day 69
Beef bacon and cheese pie, the humble meat pie has been a family tradition, not a very healthy meal, but quick and easy when time is limited, such as this evening was.
Another tradition is the tomato sauce, not wanting to pour from the bottle, meaning extra vigor is required, resulting in too much! End result was a tasty meal.

Day 68 "Relaxing"

Day 68
After the mad last four days, I thought to myself I don't want to take a photo I just want to put my feet up and watch one of my favorite shows.

Day 67 "Happy 16th"

Day 67
Andrew's 16th birthday, sitting here with Josh (Josh dislikes having his photo taken)

Day 66 - "The Day After"

Day 66
The day after. Time to clean up, I took many photos, was difficult to choose. In the end I chose this because it really represented the day more than the others, the grass is stuck to the glass and the eves and gravel on the path thrown there by the hail. The paint has been stripped in places off the post by hail, and the reflection in the window shows some neighbors checking the damage to their roof tiles.

Day 65 - "Hail Storm"

Day 65
Melbourne Hail Storm
Hail the size of...really big hail and it hurt if it hit you.
Broken window and you can see it also stripped the paint off the window frame.

My neighbors have a smashed sky light letting all the rain in, plus their patio roof is shattered, their car windscreen cracked, and dented panels, the house across from them has four broken windows and a smashed car windshield.

This was taken 45 minutes after the storm...the hail is still out there now under the kitchen window 8-1/2 hours later !!!

Day 64 - Long weekend petrol prices.
